CeeGee Jewellery Design is the home of lampwork glass and jewellery handmade by me, glass artist Carolyn Grant. From my workshop in rural Cheshire I use a centuries old technique called lampworking to make individual glass beads using a propane and oxygen powered torch. The glass forms the focal part of my jewellery, resulting in a wearable piece of glass art.
There is something hypnotic about working with glass, manipulating it in the flame and using a combination of heat and gravity to control the flow and create something beautiful. I learn something new every time I fire up my torch, and hope that my fascination with glass translates into my jewellery.
Terms and conditions
The competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or over. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. Closing date for entry will be xx/xx/2021. After this date then no further entries to the competition will be permitted. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
- I reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
- The prize is one lampwork glass necklace.
The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and I reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- Winner will be chosen:xx/xx/2021 by random number generator, from all entries received and verified.
- The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, I reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- The winner must provide a postal address to CeeGee Jewellery in order to claim the prize.
- My decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
