LAMPWORK GLASS JEWELLERY | BORN IN THE FLAME

CeeGee is the home of lampwork glass and jewellery handmade by me, glass artist Carolyn Grant. I use a centuries old technique called lampworking to make individual beads from rods of coloured glass using a propane and oxygen powered torch. Finishing the glass in sterling silver, it forms the focal part of my jewellery to become a wearable piece of glass art. 

Entirely self taught, I have developed my skills over the last 16 years in my workshop in rural Cheshire. I offer my glass online, through selected galleries and occasional art shows. Aiming to make jewellery that bypass trends and last a lifetime, my designs are a mix of one of a kind pieces and thoughtfully crafted contemporary collections.
