Dark Purple and Silver Lampwork Beads

A set of 6 lampwork glass beads handmade in my Cheshire studio. A dark purple core decorated with silvered ivory and lots of pure silver, all protected and magnified under a layer of clear glass. These deliciously dark beads can look black from certain angles until the light gets behind the clear purple and makes the colour pop.

These beads measure approximately 7 to 8 mm by 11 to 12 mm (10 mm is equal to approximately 3/8ths of an inch). All were made on 1.6 mm mandrels, thoroughly cleaned and annealed in a kiln for durability.
