Royal Mail/CWU Strike Action Update

Strike action by the Communication Workers Union is on-going. As a sole trader who is reliant on Royal Mail for my deliveries, I am doing my best to minimise the impact on my customers. Rather than rely on couriers whose service can vary greatly from region to region, I have decided to do the following:

- All orders up to £100 in value will be upgraded from First Class to Tracked24, effective immediately. Royal Mail will be prioritising delivery of Tracked24 parcels, and the online tracking will hopefully provide peace of mind as to the progress of your order. There may still be some delay in delivery times.

- All orders over £100 in value will continue to be sent using the Special Delivery service. These will also be prioritised by Royal Mail, but next day delivery is no longer guaranteed.

I hope to ensure orders reach you with the minimum possible disruption, but would ask that you allow extra time for delivery. For further information on the current status of strike action, please check the Royal Mail website here.
